Hopefully, I'm going to order a CAC clone soon, and I'm working on taking pictures of my mocs.

I got a Kashyyyk trooper so I plan on trying to make a 32x32 to 48x48 MOC with CABG users.

Alright. I'm tired of being an inactive poster here. Everybody else is building these humungous 48x48 bignettes, so I hope the bandwagon can hold another 165 pounds, because I'm jumping on.

No, don't do that. Don't just suddenly start making huge vignettes just because everyone else is. Start small (maybe 12x12) and work your way up.

That's why I'm working on my Phase 2 entry. Razz

It'll be layered (for purposes soon made known). I'm surprised (well, not really, seeing as I have more of a piece limitation then most) I haven't had a big enough project I've had to start a WIP thread yet. I'll work on that problem over the summer. Razz

Well, I'll be more Halo-related MOCs in the future. Right now I'm working on the custom Halo Spartan IIIs with all the new Halo guns (MA37 Individual Combat Weapons System, M319 Individual Grenade Launcher, BR55HB SR Battle Rifle, M392 Designated Marksman Rifle, M45 TS Shotgun). Also I will have the new Spartan III armors and helmets available. Smile

By the time Halo Reach comes out, I will have most of the figures and weapons and ships ready and will be giving them the final touch as I will be able to see more of what they actually look like in-game. Wink

Also, if the community allows it (hopefully), I will be making another community game with the figs and stuff similar to what Tac is doing with Children of the Apocalypse (this is guild members only sorry non-guildies try and get in so you can join in the fun). If everything works out and I have several of the different types of armors maybe you will be able to pick what armor and helmet and weapon you want for your character like the new Halo Reach Armory! What do you guys think? Wow this thing looks

I'm planning to do a vignette from the film "Shooter". The scene I will build is the one at the (almost) end, on the snowfield with the hostage handover. On it will be:
-Bob Lee Swagger in Snow Ghillie
-Nick Memphis
-Colonel Johnson
-Senator
-Sarah Fenn
-Mercenary
-Helicopter Pilot
-Enemy sniper
-maybe one dead enemy sniper
-two helicopters

I will need loads of white bricks for that.

So while I was building my CABGOII Phase 4 entry I used a lot of motorized pieces. I then realized I needed a few more motorized parts. I had:

1 lg motor
2 sm/md motors
2 battery packs
2 controllers
1 remote sensor

So I picked up:

1 lg motor
1 remote sensor

So I now have 2 complete sets for remote control functions. And thus the motorized play sets have begun. Im currently working on Libra for my Zodiac Project. And yes its motorized! Wow this thing looks

So I had heard gearing and torque where an issue with Lego and never really believed it until last night. Ive been playing around with a very unique ground vehicle that is going to be a part of the Libra fighter but as I was showing it off to my lawn boy, crunch crunch went the vehicle. Assuming a piece had come loose I opened up the shell of the vehicle to find one of the gears had broken into 3 pieces! So Ill fix it and just be gentle when I shoot the video portion of that MOC. Waaa!

PS: Sorry I'll take a picture later today to show the shredded gear. Embarassed

Yeahh, simply can't put too much pressure on smaller gears, and have to make absolutely sure that it's impossible for the motor to break way.

Posted earlier today:

Actually it was impossible for the motor to break free which caused the gear to break instead. Previously the motor would pop out slightly. I locked it in place and was playing around with weight distribution when the gear broke. Having a "breaker" system might be a good idea. But I think putting the smaller motor in will do the trick too. Not enough toque to crush the gear.

Well, I'm starting to make some bricklink orders for one final epic creation to go out with a bang. It will be at least twice the size of my omaha diorama and will have many more features and new cool things. It might not be the end, but it will for the while at the end of this summer...

I don't really know, I'm still thinking about it...

@Rook: Weren't there once these gears which spun when there was too much pressure them?

Darth Yoda, that sounds neat, but are you leaving CABG or are you just saying that for CABGOII?

I want to make some kind of carrier/dropship for my legion that can carry at least 6 troops and have lots of room for maybe a holotable, weapons rack, etc. I've never built any vehicle that is spaceflight capable (meaning closed-cockpit) of any size except for one-seaters.

I'm developing a stop-animation series for my Youtube account that brings characters from different fictional universes together, including Sonic the Hedgehog (I have made 6 figures already...), Metal Gear, Mario, and, of course, Star Wars...

Hey, Darman, Tac, 1 million watts of power, eclipsegrafx, and Darth Dan, pm me what weapons you want from brickarms for my Area 51 movie. The only weapons I will not allow are WW2 weapons, so make your pick, and remeber, PM me, do not post it here.
