I've completed my Tantive IV scene for the Clone Army Builders Guild 'Epic Star Wars Contest'. The contest states that you can build any memorable scene out of lego, in a 'Midnette' form. Rook came up with this idea and is running the contest. A Midette? It's now 16 x 16, at least for the contest. I threw this together quickly, I'm working on another project and couldn't be bothered too much with this one.

My title picture is the link to the gallery:

Please note in the last picture the custom DH-17 rebel blaster used in this scene in the movie; it's a small lego gun with a 1x1 grey cone placed over it. Very effective.
Any questions, comments, suggestions?

I think that DH-17 is genius! Hola Wow!

I love the 'nette and the door is great! Smile Although it'd be cool to see the other side and see the Stormies planting the explosive charge. Surprised

That's a very nice purist idea for the DH-17! I would add some more details in the hallway, when you look at the movie you'll see a kneeling rebel hidng behind a part of a door, add those things and so on.

They didn't plant an explosive charge, the Tie boarding craft deploys door-breach explosives automatically from the docking ring. Wink And this scene looks great CC, I especially like the gun, absolutly ingenius! Smile Blue Arc

Could you put a black cone on and it would still be a DH-17? Good job CC-007, I like there is almost no empty space and I like how you built the door. Fordo Yo!

Nice little MOC you have there CC-007. I really like your solution for the DH-17, simple but brilliant.
There are a couple of things you can improve on though:
-First: The walls could do with more detail, as they are they're plain and interesting.
Here's a reference picture to show you what I mean:

-Second: The floor could do with some Bley tiles. Wink

Hope that helps Smile , Fixer
