BARC speeder

Post by Knight on Wed Feb 17, 2010 8:12 pm

With the Turbo Tank coming out this summer it gave me the idea to build a BARC speeder, so here it is.

Main pic.

The nose.

The back.

The side.

The bottom.

Next to the TLC one. My MOC is just a few studs longer.

Yours is good for a first try, but you might need to revise it. The speeder is lacking in the weapons department. The back of the speeder is good but the area behind should be wider, not I stud, and it would look better with only one pair of controls. Nice use of SNOT.

BARC speeders have more than one set of controls. Here is the pic I used when I built it.

Good job, but I suggest you put some pf that darkish red markings from the picture on the front of yours.

I have to agree, it needs the red to complete it. Otherwise it is a nice moc. Smile

Thanks for the comments everyone! Smile In my MOC you can see that there is some dark red, but I couldn't find any 1x1 dark red tiles to give it the full effect. If I can find any I will update it.

I think that it's a bit blocky in the front and the back should have engines. Wink

I meant that the engines should be like not just a flat area, like an indent. Wink

If you mean the front, then I couldn't keep the shape. I rather have the shape of the engine over an indent. Wink

It has pretty good detail and design for a barc speeder, its very hard to make a barc speeder with detail, I like how you gave it four handle bars, no one ever does that, but it does need more of the weapons on it but its still a good design.

Way better than the one LEGO made Smile. Add some more dark red to the back.

It is great, but the white flat pieces are too straight, you might want it a bit more "fluid" if you know what I mean.

It's pretty nice, except for that first bump between the tiles. I see you pay attention to accuracy! A new turbo tank? I must be behind! Razz

Interesting designs here! I don't think I've seen a BARC speeder design that uses those long tiles.

Not bad, the middle is maybe a tad skinny, but otherwise pretty cool. Wink
