Geonosis

Post by Knight on Thu Feb 18, 2010 8:17 pm

This is just a quick 8x8 to practice rock formations. This takes place on Geonosis during AotC.

Main pic.

The clone on the move.

The Geonosian about to strike.

Without the figs.

Simple, but I really really like it. Good job. I like the minifig posing and the colours you used.

I like how you positioned the geonosian about to attack, but I think he should not have a spear, he should have a sonic gun (use a droid blaster backwards with a green stud on the front).

The land formation is well done. Thumbs up The only thing is that the belt on the pants is from a storm trooper, and you are using a clone trooper. (I'm all about little details.)

Some did have spears in the movie. Wink

The legs are printed so they look better, that is why I used them. Wink

The guards in the catacombs did have spears, but the way you put it was that they were on the dust plains, and the geonosian army used sonic guns out there (im the same with details as alpha beta is).

The tower thing is cool, but the ground could use a bit of layering. Wink Smile

To respond, I know that the legs are printed, but you can take the legs and add another part to make it match.

Dark orange isn't very common, so I couldn't do as much as I wanted. Wink

I don't see the problem though, because the belt still lines up, and adds detail.

Cool little simple vignette Knight. Good sense of motion and action. The bley cheese slopes on the spire remind me of the ones in BF. Whitey

That is almost all of my dark orange, so I can't add to it.
