StuG III

Post by PhiMa on Sat Feb 20, 2010 1:59 pm

Retake on one of my first tanks. Didn't like how tall it was before and how the tracks were too wide. Now I've updated it to be more accurate. The hatches actually close, but the figure doesn't fit inside. Sorry folks Wink

Overview:

As you can see, the brickarms included in this MOC are the MG42 and Ammo chain.

Engine Compartment covered with gear:

Front with hatches closed:

And Finally, the size comparison with the Kübelwagen and Wehrmacht soldier:

Thanks for viewing! Enjoy!

Nice. The treads look more like treads now.

Oh, and you lucky ducky. Wink

I don't like the studs all the way around at that one layer, but other than that it's good work. The treads and back look particularly well done.

Awesome Job Phima. Your works inspire me to want to make a tank. Maybe one day I will do it:P Once I have the budget to start buying from BL. Razz

For now I will settle to envy your works.

All Hail!

It looks really good Phima, but it's a tank, is it really supposed to be that small? Wink Smile

Correction: It's a tank destroyer. They are basically moving artillery made to destroy the enemy tanks.
Anyway PhiMa I really like it. If you could make those studs SNOT too it'd be perfect.
