Miniland Stormtrooper

A miniland-ish scale stormtrooper that I created for and upcoming dio by Dave Shaddix. Unfortunately according to Dave, he's a little short for a stormtrooper, so I'll be making a bigger version of him soon.

Good, but the helmet seems awkward compared to the rest of it.

Yeah, those helmets look like airborne trooper helmets.

I looks really nice, The helmet makes him look like an assassin droid though.

Helmet is a bit iffy, but I couldn't have done any better. Nice work.

I agree with everyone on the helmet it looks weird. I love the gun how did you make that scope?

Thanks guys. I can't think of a better solution for the helmet. Miniland figs are blockish, so I kinda wanted to keep it that way. It looked dumb with rounded 2x2 bricks so I scrapped that idea. I think it might look better in person, because you can't really see the eyes in these pics.

The scope on the gun is a piece that I have no idea what it's official name/classification would be. Sorry, you could always just start searching BL.

I actually like the helmet! It stays true to the Miniland feel. The only thing that needs to be fixed is that blue pin in the leg and replace it with a 1x1 brick with a stud on the side. Other than that minor complaint, well done!

Yep yep, that bothered me too, I'm one those bricks short and don't have enough BL $$$ to make the order yet. Soon though.

@Customhelmets- yep I can do that later tonight or early tomorrow.

It's pretty good. Not a big fan of Mini-land though...

The way the leg design was made and the stormtrooper armor is just awesome!

Nice. But he seems to bee a little too wide since he's 4 studs wide, but thats just my opinion.
