GOW Mercs Empty GOW Mercs

Post by Axel Sat May 29, 2010 10:43 am

Inspired by Jasbrick's GOW Plus minifigures, today I bought some Citadel Paints from my local Games Workshop, and painted up one of my Hazel GOW armours. Here is the result of an hour's worth of painting.

Thanks!

So kick-***. I love the black between the boundaries of the armor connections. Great job! Smile Thumbs up

Hm, the paint job is superb, but it doesn't really transition well with the rest of the body.

It's still good, though! Smile

NICE.

SWEET.

OH YEAH.

/Marcus sayings

That's a pretty neat piece by Hazel; only thing I'd say is there appears to be an airgap between the shoulder and the shoulderpad... but that would be nitpicky. Wink

I wanted to focus on the painted piece here, and since it was inspired by Jasbrick, I went with what he went with.

See here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jasbrick/sets/72157623778126424/

When I get some more torsos and legs, I'll probably paint them up to match the armour.

Not bad, but maybe use the new PM chromy torsos instead. Wink Smile
