It Began In Mystery
Yes I know what you're all thinking: "Oh no, ANOTHER Zepher comic?!"
Well shove it, since I like story telling.
Besides, I've made my life easier on this one in a number of ways. First off, this will not be weekly. Bi-weekly will be more likely, but you may get it more often or less often depending on the time of year and how much work I have.
Secondly, I've not trapped myself in a universe like Star Wars. I get to make up this univerese, and that makes me, as a story-teller, much happier. I don't have to worry about as much, and I have way more fun this way, and if you're doing something you like, chances are you work on it harder and more.
Thirdly, I've actually read some comics now. I know how they work, so I can bring you much nicer stories now.
Anyway, enough of that. Enjoy Issue 1 of a 36 issue story!

Re: It Began In Mystery
Thank you everyone! I finished the scripting for the rest of the comic tonight, and all I can say is that it is twisty, tricky and awesome as hell, at least, I think it is, and I'm so excitied to keep working on it.

it was good, very nice cliff hanger, but I change some of the white text when there is white backgrounds, I hate straining at the screen to tell what it said.

Yeah, having black text would be much better.

I loved it! The story kept my attention the whole time, and I can't wait to see the character development! Keep it up!

I absolutely LOVE how you made it all grainy, like it was a video, taped before the accident, and then found.

Yeah, the whole thing was great.
I think the people's names should be given, so we know who everyone is.

Re: It Began In Mystery
Okay, so adressing a number of issues. The only place that I think the white narration was hard to see was the page before Elliot started announcing the Alien, and I tried black there too, but due to picture composition and space, it read even worse (black capes up top and black shits down bottom.)
The grainyness at the beginning, along with the washed out colors, fit into the bigger story for a major reason. Everything will be explained, and there are clues to everything that happens in the story previously in the story. That's the beauty of having everything scripted before hand, something I've never done before!
As for names, you have two, and get the other two important ones in the next issue. This is only the firsst 18 pages of a much greater story, which is now, just since you folks are so gosh darn beautiful, 38 issues long.

Re: It Began In Mystery
^Thirty-eight issues, wow, how often will you make them, like one every week?
EDIT:Nevermind, but it still looks like you have some work ahead of you.
