Rebel Alliance Ground Hover Transport
I didn't have any good ideas for this month's Empire Strikes Back contest. So I thought I'd make something still in the spirit of the 30th anniversary of the Empire Stikes Back. This was like a 20-30 minute build.
The Rebel Alliance Ground Hover Transport (RAGHT) was a transport used shortly on Hoth by the Rebel Alliance. It basically did as the name said: it transported troops, supplies, and the other miscellaneous things you could find in Echo Base or on Hoth. It had a cruising speed of 10 km/h for inside the hangar and could reach speeds of over 100 km/h on the surface of Hoth. For emergency situations such as Wampa attacks, a chain gun and blaster are attached.

I'm going to let Rook do the honors of tearing this apart but this isn't even guild worthy. There is no form or style to it. It's sadly uglier then the Hoth Battlepack.

Honestly, this is not very guild worthy at all. If I were you I would keep the concept, and just make a better MOC.

*rubs eyes* I swear, those two posts look exactly alike... Thank goodness one was made before the other.
Anyway, constructive criticism to the rescue!
Remake it slightly larger, with elbow room in the back, and for sure, cover it so it's sniper-proof. And please, give it a loading ramp so the troopers don't have to jump over the side to embark/disembark.
One more thing: those two huge guns are fairly obsolete at 100 kilos per hour, no? I'd dump them whether on this model or on a larger modification. I think two small, modest, realistic, and dualized weapons, one on each side, would look far better.

One, two, Rook's coming for you;
Three, four, better lock your door;
Five, six, grab your crucifix;
Seven, eight, gonna stay up late;
Nine, ten...
Never sleep again...
Well, you should make the 'nose' higher and everything 80-0 said. Go man! Hurry!

LOL
That was both hilarious and shudder-inducing.

I don't watch horror movies.
Yes, I am a member of one of those dying breeds that actually believes in getting a full night's sleep, not impeded by having gotten the living daylights scared out of you by a psychotic killer who uses a retinue of sharp objects to disembowel his blissfully ignorant victims. (this discussion could always move to the Their Topics Small for Too Own Thread thread, or better yet the movies thread)

I will have to agree with all of the above. It states perfectly clear what it is.

Exactly is a bit excessive 80-0. Halen talked about how it was bad, I commented on how he could recover his concept and make a MOC that could turn out nicely.
Re: Rebel Alliance Ground Hover Transport
Well, this wasn't one of my newer builds so I scrapped it a while ago.
There's not much I could do to save this anyway though; it was a bad build from the start and the ideas I had in mind won't work with that shape.
Sorry you all had to waste your time. Again.

Re: Rebel Alliance Ground Hover Transport
I heard my special style of input was needed. I don't see why it looks great!
Ok here's what you need to work on:
Red Circles: Note odd over hangs.
Green Circles: This is snow speeder that front end is going scoop snow right up into the pilots face. Raise the nose by at least one brick height. Then maybe add a windscreen. Subzero blasting wind and what not.

The thing is, you said the exact same thing Halen said in the first sentence. That was what I meant. I meant if Halen hadn't said "not guild worthy", you never would have said it either.
But that's just me. I am after all a constant complainer.
Wait, what?

Re: Rebel Alliance Ground Hover Transport
Thanks everyone. I'll factor these things in when building my next MOC.

Anyway, I don't think Rook's "mod's" to it well help it all that much. I like the concept but you could have used it in another way. Say, add other figures other than the ones in the new BP's. You could have also added the Rebel Alliance symbol on the front from the 2007 Rebel Battle Pack. I also dislike the fact that you used incorrectly colored antennae for the controls; one is yellow and the other is white.

Anyway, ignore that idiot up there...
The speeder is nice. Simple, but nice. I would recommend implementing some of Rook's suggested changes, but other than that, it really doesn't need to be OMG EPIX to be a transport speeder.
