Vindi's Laboratory

Here's a vignette(?) I made today to practice my greebling. I do say that I'm improving. It's a hallway from Vindi's Laboratory from what I remember as seen in Blue Shadow Virus. Well here it is, I hope you enjoy it.

The moc is looking quite nice, my only issue with it is that it could use some more rubble and debris near the hole.

Yeah, I noticed that after I posted it. I'll try to do that next time I build something similar to this.

Reminds me of Eclipse's "Red Alert"...

I quite like the greebles at the top, but the plain walls underneath are contrasting in a bad way. It also doesn't seem to secure between the walls and the greebled top piece.

Very true, walls and greebles are my weak point. I need to fix that eventually with practice.

Yes, instead of those plain walls a greebled one would look better. Also, more explosion and gunshot effects should be shown.

I also don't really like the choice of Vindi's helmet, it doesn't look right. (Keeps on making me think Vindi's an ODST)

Yes here is what I have for you to specify.

1. Lack of greebles/bad transition.
2. I like the random destruction.
3. ODST?

You do know that Cody was not in that episode right? It was Rex leading the clones and bomb squad troops.
Anyway I agree with the others about the greebles but overall, nice job.

You can't just greeble randomly; there's a time and place for random greebling, and a time and place for neater greebling. In this case, it's a labroratory, so neater, cleaner greebles should have been used, arranged in a repeating pattern of some kind.

Still, interesting MOC, just keep what I said about the greebling in mind.

I have to say thanks for this tidbit! I am still learning about greebliage and didn't know there was a time and place for greeble styles. I personally try to pattern them when (if) I use them.

Not bad, but like the others said, it could use more debris.
