Sometimes what you're looking for is... CABGOII Phase2 Entry

Sometimes what you're looking for is where you don't expect it to be...

Earlier that day, the 25th Legion's clones were dispatched to look for the base of some rebels. They eventually found the almost hidden but lush planet the rebels were hiding in, and went down to check it out. The met a couple of the rebels which led to a couple of small skirmishes between the rebels and the 25th. After a while, the clones won, and they start to look for the rebels' base which they knew must be nearby. They come upon a dying rebel and proceed to interrogate him.

A group of clone troopers find the dying rebel on the floor and start to approach him.

Clone Sergeant: "There's a rebel still alive here, let's have a chat with him. *points finger at a trooper* "Trooper stay on that tree and stay on lookout for any suspicious activity!"

Clone Trooper: "Yes sir!"

The clone sergeant and another trooper approach the dying rebel.

Clone Sergeant: "Where's your base?"

Rebel: *raspy voice* "You will die..."

Clone Trooper: "C'mon, tell us where your base is dammit, or we'll shoot you!"

Rebel: *coughs* "I'll die anyways, it doesn't matter..."

Clone Sergeant: "Who's your leader?"

Rebel: *fading voice* "You'll find out soon..."

Clone Trooper: "Where the hell is your base, get on with it!"

Rebel: *faint voice* "It's here..."

Clone Trooper: "What the hell are you talking about, it's right here, stop talking this bullship to me!"

Rebel: *whispers* "We'll rise up and you will know...our superweapon will destroy you..."

Rebel lets out a sigh and dies.

Clone Trooper: "Dammit!"

Clone Sergeant: "He said something about a superweapon though, radio the command and let's start looking for it."

Clone Trooper: "Yes sir!"

The clones wander away in different ways looking for the new weapon. Little do they know however, that what they're looking for is right under their feet.

Several notes about the MOC:

-If you read the above story, you would know that the water is on land and the grey part is underground.
-In the underground base, the superweapon (which is a robot killer type of thing) is in pieces and is being put together, there is a picture of the whole thing put together at the end of the pictures.
-The pieces that the minifigures are holding are parts for the robot as they are working on it. The guy in orange is holding the hands/claws, the calamari guy is holding the robot's gun, the guy in dark grey is pushing the body/abdomen and the rodian is processing information to the head.
-The blue lightsaber things are there because they are like holders to keep the robot in the working area.
-The door on the right is boarded up because it is underground and rats can come in if you don't board it up.
-The tree on top has one side darker due to light/shadow.

EDIT: I forgot to add that the robot's arms, legs, ankles, wrists, torso, and head all can rotate properly and move.

Awesome, the story and WIP robot are great! The pictures could be a bit better though...

This is a great entry TD. This is a tough competition to get those spots in the 3rd Phase!

Kinda disappointing. Good build but the presentation is awful. Time to step up your game and either get a backdrop or learn to edit out the background.

I am not sure about having my rebel base under a mass a water. I think you should change that or change the distance. I know that water is on land and the base is under the land part, but have you ever thought about wet mud & wet sand. All I would like to see is my distance between the waters bottom and the bases sealing.

It's underground. You can have underground under a body of water. I would have like to make the top like a cave so it was like actually underground but I don't have the time/money/resources to do it.

I apologize for the terrible photos, I have a videocam so it's not that great at taking pictures (it doesn't really focus) and I just don't have the time to edit all the photos (man, final exams suck, don't they!).

All I was saying is that tha base needs to be farther under ground!!!

Great bot and landscaping.

But I think the actual base is too crowded.
There are too many figures that are blocking cool builds (Like the table where the robot's head is being processed).

Overall, great job.

Wow, just wow, it is epic. The only thing I would fix is the dark red pieces, they look out of place.

Nice droid, everything looks good, the green guy is a Trandoshan right? What are the rebels against, the repubic, what they do? Add more story to this.
