Zam Wesell's Koro-2 Exodrive Airspeeder

Post by THX 1138 on Sat Aug 07, 2010 7:54 pm

This is the first MOC I've posted here. When I made my MOC of Anakin's airspeeder from AOTC, I had been planning to make a MOC of Zam's airspeeder as well. I'm happy with much of it, but it's definitely not my best MOC. I kind of rushed some parts of the design, since I was trying to finish it to make it part of my entry for a Lego contest at my library (which I was unable to enter, due to placing Bricklink orders too late). If I had had more time, I would've done parts of the bottom, the back, and especially the insides of the front prongs differently.

The cockpit is quite cramped, but a minifig can (barely) fit in it.

Looks really nice. You should probably used more tiles, so it is truly SNOTted, not just mostly that way.

Looks a lot like the real thing. Thumbs up

This is a very nice MOC. IMO better than TLG's, but I agree, this isn't exactly your crowning achievement. I think you could have snotted the back differently so it could be thinner looking, and maybe curved and rounded a few more things, but it's still well built.

I've wanted to re-do this speeder as well with snot for some time. You did a pretty good job. Not a fan of the underside of the bricks on the back behind the windscreen though.

*Edit, that's the underside, so I have no complaint then Razz

Wow. You did an amazing job on this, the best I've ever seen. Beats TLC's a 100 times.

AoTC is my favorite movie in the PT, and this MOC really does justice to the real thing. Very well done! Smile

Love the SNOT! Everything has been nicely fitted in and making the bottom flipped over is a great technique! Nice work! Smile
