Darth maul (more of a custom Hilt)

Another take at darth maul's hilt. I have heard my original take:


Was too long, but fail to realize the design behind it was for functional purpose. The original design allowed for multiple ways of holding the hilt and allowed for 2 hands the grip at the same time. But to satisfy the masses I created this version:



It is about half a stud too short to be double gripped but it is pretty close to Mauls double hilt.

I then took it a step further to create:


It is a bit sloppy, I apologize, but I think I finished this one at 4am this morning and rushed it. The real one, if anyone asks for it, would have cleaner buttons.

I personally favor the none button one.

Either will be available in my shop at : Eclipsegrafx on Bricklink.

You got permission for advertising?

I like the hilt, very realistic to the one in the movie. But to make it more movie accurate, you should make in silver; seeing that's how it was in the movie.

But its still a nice hilt.

I asked Rook a while back and said just mention where to get it in the post. Something like that, thats why I ask Rook in the post if its like this, he means.

That a very nice blade, perfect. I agree, the one without buttons is more preferable in my opinion. Mm... New York...

Without buttons. More Lego like. But I envy you for having enough skill to do everything you do.

The buttons are kind of unproportioned IMO. So without buttons. But if they were in proportion with the figure a bit more, than with the buttons.

The proportion doesn't really bother me. But I have been talking to someone about an idea for a smaller button but it wouldn't be too noticeable.

Also, will any weapon be available for individual retail in your shop?

There already is. But this is off topic.
