Alien Reconnaissance Speederbike

My utterly last-minute entry for the speederbike challenge over at LSB.







Not much of a backstory here, but I'd like to get some feedback on it.

Ditch the wings, they make an otherwise slick looking build bulky. Speederbikes don't need wings anyways.

The color blocking is very nice, but the wings are kind of meh.

In a very redundant post, I concur with the two above posters. The wings stand out and look bulky.

Yeah, the speeder would look cooler without the wings. I think the color scheme is really nice, though.

As others have said the wings need to go. Other than that, this is nice! I'm loving the piece usage.

The middle is awesome but the wings don't seem to quite fit with it.

Well Mr. Pyne... Here's what I like about this MOC.
The bley plates towards the front look great on this speeder, but not only that, the use of the clone trooper visor thingy makes a great screen/data/display/what's that word I'm looking for thing. I'm not done yet. I like the way you use your unused sticker sheets, thus inspiring myself to do the same. Great MOC once again Justin.

I for one like the wings. It gives it a "buggy" look. Being that it is an alien space craft I think the bug look flows well.

The colors and the sticker use really did it for me on this build.'

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I wish I could enter the contest but I am In Vermont, it is cold, and the worst part is... THERE IS NO LEGO!!!! But anyway, I like the alien fig and the backpack concept on him. I also like the wings but maybe you could add a light blaster to them. Good Job!!!

What? No LEGO? That's blasphemy!

Anyway, I didn't add guns to the wings because that's what the proton cannon in the front is for.

Another great build Justin. Unfortunately it looks like there is some bad editing in some of the pictures with your red background. It makes it harder to see it. Particularly in the last picture, there is areas of bright red with large patches of dark red with little shading which makes the picture look bad. That's my only issue. Contrary to everyone else, I like the wings.
