Jedi Briefing Room
When the discovery of The Rook Runner occurred the Jedi Council called for an immediate meeting with all the Jedi in the vicinity.
Thats all I have for now.
Anyway I want to thank a few people who tried to help me with ideas on how to make this room more accurate. Legohaulic, lego junkeh, Lazer blade, Lego Revolution.... If I forgot someone please let me know.... This is version one, I did not do the MOC according to the reference picture but I will once I have more funding and more time.
Please feel free to comment.
This is a thecabg.net build. Visit us and check out the new year of events we are holding.
THanks:).

That table is pretty epic.

Woah. Pure. Win. Love the way everyone is sitting, the holo table, especially the hinge piece parts, and then the GIMPing was very nicely done. Also, do I spot you in that background?

Re: Jedi Briefing Room
Wow, this has to be your best MOC yet! I absolutely love the hologram table. Fantastic work all around though.

Re: Jedi Briefing Room
As much as I love the holo-table, I'm very impressed with simple things like the floor and the walls. You captured the look of the jedi temple very well.
Re: Jedi Briefing Room
I knew that there would be something like this coming from you. Great job on the holo table structure.
Re: Jedi Briefing Room
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
Hahahaha.
Haha.
That isn't Lego. There's no way it could look that good.
EDIT: No seriously, how the hell is that so good. I'm in love. The base of the projector is fantastic, the little planet with comet like thing on top is a wonderful touch, and the lighting of the MOC, something often ignored, is superb, the windows are masterful. I love the sitting as well, the feel of life in each figure just compliments an already superb MOC.

Re: Jedi Briefing Room
Holy cow, that holo-table is amazing, didn't think the hologram was lego at first. Way to start off a new year.
Re: Jedi Briefing Room
Yes, yes! This is great!. It flows very well. I can spot some people like me, GTee, and possibly you.
Re: Jedi Briefing Room
Thanks everyone! I don't know what to say. This was one of my favorite scenes to make so far and I really wanted the windows/lights to be the way it came out. The rest of it wasn't so clear in my head.
Earlier Tac posted something about the 3 P's.
To everyone who isn't in the guild I can not stress this enough. I didn't know there was a "3 p's system" but I know I did do these 3.
For this MOC I sought out advice from different SW builders. And then some special techniques builders. This past week I spent time on flickr book marking different things I liked and my original hologram looked nothing like this. (perseverance)
After I made up my mind on what I wanted to do I placed a few rushed orders and viola here is what you have!
It really took me I think 2 days to build since I had a reference picture and half the parts. I also had to build it in a way that after I was done photographing it I could let my son play with it. "Daddy after you are finished can I play with it."
I think scenes are my comfort zone and I would love to learn how to make vehicles next but the little time I have for lego goes to customizing.
Soon the Jedi Alliance will have some nice ships to take down the Rook Ryders though!
P.S. Where am I?

I was wondering the same thing. Unfortunately I don't have him.TheMissingPiece wrote:Hey...where's Kit Fisto? Nice MOC, Eclipse. I cannot find a single flaw!

Whoa, I love it! I really like all the techniques in the holocron. What parts is the trans-dark blue sphere made out of?

Re: Jedi Briefing Room
Wow... This is a truly SENSATIONAL MOC! I love the hologram table, and the whole room has great character. Great job!
Re: Jedi Briefing Room
Damn boy, you can build! I had no idea why you needed a hologram, I just thought you'd have a custom Jedi holding one, I didn't realize you were building. It seems I always struggle to find something to say on the best MOCs, same with Rook's. I'm just gonna say this is one of the best non-Revo scenes I've seen on CABG.
You need to build more.

DarthPineapple wrote:Whoa, I love it! I really like all the techniques in the holocron. What parts is the trans-dark blue sphere made out of?
The blue sphere is that part from the power miners set, they don't connect to each other so I had to mess with the rubber band, I almost gave up when I put the tubing down the middle and had them hold on to it. The inside piece I am not sure what set its from but I wanted something inside it to give it texture.
I am surprised everyone likes it since I was sort of meh about it. I wanted a bigger ball so I could use bigger dishes. I guess it turned out better then I thought.
Thanks everyone (again) and I am glad, Tac, that you are speechless. You are one of the MOCers that caught my attention when I first joined.

Re: Jedi Briefing Room
I dig it. The presentation of the scene is most excellent from the lighting to the tiling on the floor.
I didn't even see the rubber band holding the dome pieces together until you pointed it out.
I assumed wizardry.

Wow! The MOC is super. I like how you made the hologram and hologram computer, as well as the computer console.I also see that you made The Rook Runner into a hologram too. I give this a 5/5 for a contest.

This is really awesome. Great job on the holo-table. The legs on all the sitting people are very inventive.

Re: Jedi Briefing Room
Great techniques on the hologram with the small sphere rotating around the other.
Re: Jedi Briefing Room
Wow. That is sick! This deserves to be an actual set. It has SO much detail to the real thing.
Re: Jedi Briefing Room
When, you said "Lazer I need help with this project", I thought you where out of your mind. But now I see what "built, inspired and befriended" means.
Well now, I was stunned when I saw that holo gram and table. It is beautifully done! And I love the whole bad guy thing. Great MOC Eclipse, I might make a sequel to this if it is alright with you.
Keep on Bricking Eclipse!

I've already commented on flickr and shared much input, but this creation really deserves more!

This is absolutely correct and I can't re-iterate those points enough. Eclipse has done a great job following the creed as evidently displayed in this moc. My hat's off to you good sir. Can't wait to see future projects.
