Custom Commander Bly

I just wanted to share one of my older, but most favorite customs. Ep.III Commander Bly:

Its stickers. What do you want me to say?

It's not bad. The accessories are nice. The only thing that bugs me is that the helmet is not movie accurate.

Yeah, stickers aren't exactly the best thing to use.

Yeah, me too, the first thing I s=thought when I saw it was "Where is the rest of the yellow?"
Also, there should be some more detail to it, such as the belt, and the arms.

I think this is pretty good. The application on the arms and legs is neat, but the helmet is not as good as the rest. It's still good nonetheless. I also think that the Kama is pretty creative. Is it custom-made?

Overall, I like this figure. Good job!

YAY! Episode III Commander Bly! It's not too bad although, Bly is more of a bronze color as I recall.

Looks okay to me although the helmet application could be a bit smoother.

I am a total Bly nerd custom, I ALWAYS have to making a new and improved one, and for a first try, I think this is ok.
There are a few things you should change though:

1. On the lines on the helmet, you can obviously see the stickers going over one another. You could fix this by using painting tape, and then using a mustard colored paint, or anything else to your preference.

2. The decals (or stickers) on the legs and arm could be a little cleaner.

But I LOVE how you got the macros on the helmet, it makes it very nice, along with the pauldron.

I really like him! The neck thingy, can't recall the name isn't too great but the rest is good .

Crud! I just realized the helmet isn't complete! Who made these dumb decals?! JK . Thanks for all the tips, I'll post new photo's if/when I update him.

No problem (If that was directed at me ).

Overall pretty good, but once again the helmet looks a bit "crusty," otherwise pretty good!

Update!

I removed the old helmet decals and painted it.

Looks nice! I didn't see the old decals, but I am guessing it is an improvement.

This is great, the legs don't look like stickers in my opinion, great job!

I know that he's yellow, but Bly in EP III is a dark mustard yellow not yellow like a banana.

Dude, that's the pauldron and kama!

The line on his chest is dark yellow and the line on his helmet is too.

Anyway, back on topic. The new helmet looks better than the old decals.

Realy nice custom commander bly. Great detail on it, especialy the torso.

I think he is half and half (TJ and Train). Here is a reference picture.

C Stone, this looks very well done (considering it is stickers). I am not much into customizing clones, but you sir, have done better then I could ever do. Keep on the good work.
