Paratrooper by The Clone Factory
I have yet to update my site with the info so this is the first look. Sorry about some of the color distortions in the picture. Obviously have to give credit to MMCB for the Kama. This will be the first of many new creations this month. Enjoy.

Awesome! The gray part on the helmet sticks out a bit. Can we see him helmetless?

That's a pretty figure CF, I like him alot. Although the on thing I'd criticize is that the mouthpiece seems a bit out of proportion to me.

Not bad, not bad. I take it that is your custom airborne helmet. What did you use for a base ==> Ep 2 helmet?
I do agree with Fordo though, the "breather" crest is too high making the lens too high
Sides and rear look great though!

Re: Paratrooper by The Clone Factory
great job clonefactory! Like Fordo said, the mouthpiece is a bit too large but other than that, I think that it's brilliant.
Re: Paratrooper by the Clone Factory
where did you get the helmet?

I like it. I agree, the vent does seem a tab bit too big.

Re: Paratrooper by The Clone Factory
I have the hasbro fig here and what I can tell it's a very good helmet. Yet the froný grey part should be narrowed by about 1/3 and aswell a bit lower. Further, the orange stripes on the helmetshould be pointing a bit more outwards. But that are just minor details, great JOB!

Re: Paratrooper by The Clone Factory
So if i was to sand down the front and redo the breather should the breather be square looking as it is now or more rounded. Any thoughts.
BTW. Thanks for the feedback.

Re: Paratrooper by The Clone Factory
It's the right shape, just shrink it down a bit .

That looks amazing! My only critisizm is that the helmet is a little large, but it's great detail!

I like the model and the detail on the helmet, but I have always wondered when I have been lurking, what do you make your helmets out of? Bob's looks like plastic of some sort, but yours look almost like foam or some soft material.

Your comments hurt me to my deepest core. I use resin as well. I havn't heard this comment from anyone else.

Well, since you asked. I spent the first half of the week dissapointed that the hockey pads didn't work as well as I wanted on the Clone Commando. Although some people liked the look, I had higher expectations.
I spent an afternoon redoing the Paratrooper but didn't get very far.
Otherwise I am itching to do some pictures of my covert figures and Heavy Troopers for my site. Next I will redo the Paratrooper and get ready to unroll my new intention to sell detailed helmets seperately.
Thanks for asking.
Re: Paratrooper by The Clone Factory
Sounds cool! I like they look of your helmets and pieces, I think they look great! I am also VERY excited about you selling helmets, they're going to be detailed correct?
P.S. As soon as you get the Paratrooper helmet perfected, I'm deffinetly going to get one! With a combination of your, Wuzzup's, Arealight's, and Kam's work, I'm hoping to have a large assortment of custom Troopers I'm debuting later this summer!

Actually no they are'nt, they're made of cast resin, LEGOs are made of ABS plastic. And please remember to use correct spelling and punctuation please.-MOD
Re: Paratrooper by The Clone Factory
Clone Factory makes high quality custom pieces, and does a dang well job of it too. He uses this kind of plastic because of both the availibilty and the logicality for what he is doing. I'd like to see you make anything close to the quality of what Clone Factory does, legoboyrob2.

Re: Paratrooper by The Clone Factory
First off, it was Jamesh who orginal brought up that they look soft. They sorta do in some pictures, but I'm sure that that's just wierd... something, I don't know, lighter or what not. I'm personally a huge fan of CF's work, but I agreed, they look like a softer plastic.
