"All Terrain Tactical Enforcer" [AT-TE] WIP

Post by Sabarrus on Fri Apr 29, 2011 9:35 pm

Let's face it. I wish I had some inspiration to build. These past two weeks I've been having major builders block, WIPs laying on my desk start to become scrap'd, and I'm left unsatisfied. I don't know if it's because of my lack of time to build, or my cluttered desk. So, in an effort to try and not hit a dead end with this latest creation I'll be posting updates on it in this thread.

Here's Update Number 1 (Excuse the un-edited pictures Embarassed )

No worries, I'll be adding color to it once I get the main shape down. The top will also be angled, the current "roof" is there for filler.More Updates to come!

Looks alright so far... I'm concerned though that you try to SNOT it and use that hinge piece on the smaller leg, it will give way to the weight.

Also, is that a PS2 in the background?

Ah, I see what you're saying. I plan to use mostly Technic for the main frame, and this includes the leg attachments. I used the hinge pieces while I was "visualy planing" so to speak, trying out different leg positions and the spacing between them. I see what your getting at though, the front hull alone weights quite a lot. I love using SNOT but it's a real pain sometimes.

And Yeah, Ol'Trusty back there is a PS2, got my moneys worth out of that one Razz I haven't jumped into next-gen gaming yet. Embarassed
