Port Royal's Mouse-Hole
ARRG MATEY! That's right! Sabarrus has ventured into the Pirate theme!
"The stern rule and heavy guarding of this Royal colony was meant as a symbol to deter all piracy. Without the proper documentation and paperwork, leaving and entering the city is near impossible. But outside the walls are various buildings used for shops and bait houses. With the right form of distraction, 'Smith's Fishing Wares' is a great way to get into the city without the need of endless paperwork as is has a secret tunnel under the wall."

ARRRR...Nevermind....Because of the fact that the walls are a solid white I decided to go for a different background rather than my standard white expanse. So now you guys can see the actual build!
Check out my Flickr Photostream for more creations!
I'll upload more close ups later on. I'd have more, but I'm off doing summer-ish things and don't have access to my bricks and such. Enjoy!

The smoke stacks and the details on the barn area are ace. The mixing of tiles and plates for the roof adds alot to the texture.

Thanks guys.
I was originally going to keep the roofing pure tiles, but I think the studs add some nice texture.

AARRRG! Some nice though simple use of parts. The simplicity of normal bricks on the outside, the mystery of what gives it the shape on the inside. AYE, AYE!!!!
Re: Port Royal's Mouse-Hole
Cool stuff dude! I love the cartoonish feel, it seems a little squashed and silly, but still paints a clear picture! The colors are awesome too. The red roof, however, seems too empty to me. It needs something to break it up just a little. The rest of the roof has texture from the wood, the red only has changes of color, so it also needs more texture or it sticks out too much, and draws the eye away from the rest of the creation.
Re: Port Royal's Mouse-Hole
Wow, this is really nice. I think some exposed studs on the stairs would give it a nice feel, but that's about my only problem with this vig. Nicely done!
Re: Port Royal's Mouse-Hole
^ Yeah, i'm with TheMissingPiece, some studs would look good on the stairs, but not to many.

Great job! The red roof looks just a little silly, but that isn't to much of a problem. One thing i noticed that the right two chimney are different then the left two, are they supposed to be two different buildings? Overall, very good job!
Re: Port Royal's Mouse-Hole
Thanks for the comments guys.
The white bit behind the Fishing shop is all a wall. The two "towers"(Aside from the entrance way) are added for a bit a variation, so it's not just a large white wall. Imagine the two right towers are consistent throughout the whole wall (Around the City). While the two left towers only appear in entrances. I think that answers your question.

When you put it that way, it makes lots of sense. But, I think if you are to have that way, you must have another building on the left. Thanks for answering my question.
