Border Check Empty Border Check

Post by Fithboy Sat Sep 17, 2011 3:36 pm

This is the border between two parts of the planet, the Separatist half and the Republic half. The fighting is at a lull at the moment, so people are going back and forth between the two halves, visiting family and stuff. There's been a break in in one of the shops.

Flickr set.

It's my biggest MOC yet and lacks quite a lot of detail, but I like it. I was planing on tiling the roofs of those buildings, but I didn't have enough tiles Sad.

Here's a little stop-motion showing the sliding door.

Yeah, so would I but, as I said in the description, I ran out of tiles Sad.

On another note, you see the windows are made of clear cheese pieces, yeah? It took ages to put them up and guess what just happened. My friend just popped round and said "I've grown out of my Lego, here, you have it."

He gave me the Lego Airport. It's covered in windows.

Same story with me. I have no tiles but I don't have friends who give me lego. Sad

Could you do an update pic?

Sorry Fith, I'm just not feeling this one. I think because of it's size, it has a bunch of empty space. And there's also the tile situation. I feel risking details for the sake of size just doesn't work.

I hope to see you improve your skills! Giddy Lego

I can see what you are trying to get at, but like Sabarrus said it just has to much empty space. Keep it up! Wink
