Mission 12.1

Well, first mission as a Lieutenant, but it felt like any other mission that I have been a part of in the past. Apparently General Kenobi and ARC Trooper Alpha had been captured after a reconnaissance operation on the planet. The two were being held in ‘Castle Ventress’ which is basically Ventress’s fortress. The 316th and 707th teamed up for this one, the Lieutenants were to enter the station and rendezvous at the detention block where Kenobi and Alpha were being held. The Sergeants were to draw out the Rattataki Sentries from the stronghold so we could look for the Republic prisoners. Sergeant York radioed me on my comlink and gave my squad the all clear to enter the compound. Command sent us the location of the cell where they were being held and we advanced towards their position. As we got closer we ran into more and more resistance, but it wasn’t anything we couldn’t handle. We arrived at the door to their cell and of course, there were battle droids there to greet us.

“Nix, we gotta get past these droids. Blast them!”
“Sounds good to me sir!”
