The battle of Jabiim
CC-8957 also know as Raz , commanded the 23rd legion of the 54th eclipse corps during the clone wars. Raz and his men saw their first action during the battle of Geonosis, but made name for themselves during the battle of Jabiim. There the Republic suffered great losses and were forced to retreat. In order for the retreat to be successful Raz and small group of clones had to hold out against great odds and a large army of droids. With his and his men's valiant effort the separatists were held off long enough to save the lives of thousands of clones. Here is my vignette depicting the makeshift fort backed up to a cliff made my Raz and his men to hold off wave after wave of battle droids.

Nice! I really like the post-apoc look! My favorite part is that you didn't just come up with an excuse that your commander got phase 2 prototype armor but you actually made him in phase 1.
Overall, great job!

I like it! The wood is a good touch, it really gives the makeshift sort of feel.

Very nice MOC! I really like all the brown wood feel, and the clones are nice too. Is this a planet you made up yourself?

No, the Battle of Jabiim was a real battle in the early Clone Wars.

He hasn't heard of Jabiim....
*faints*
It's referenced in just about every Clone Wars related work about!
But, no, awesome bignette. The brown really does a good job at looking like mud ....
Re: The battle of Jabiim
Just a curiousity of mine; why is there flame? I understand the searing properties of laserblasts but under sufficient rainfall, a quality of which Jabiim is at least somewhat well known for, the ability to create flame through contact with a dry substance is significantly diminished.
Anyways, nice greebling on the grey and nice wooden walls!

Indeed it was here is a link to the wookiepedia article ( Battle of Jabiim ), but these entire scene is a made up part of the back story of my commander, and I plan on continuing his story through more vignettes Smile

The flames were not meant to be lasting flames (of course it is raining... its Jabiim ) It is more of a that it is a middle of an attack at that is the brief sparks and flames from constant blaster fire. Also in the back group of flames i was thinking of it as kind of the after math of a thermal detonator that injured the clone seen lying to the left.

Ahh, I follow you; sort of like the explosions of the shots/grenades which temporarily cause flame to erupt moments before it is extinguished by the fire. Thanks for explaining.

CC, note that those red arms notoriously belong to the recently released Commander Fox figure which just happened to be the torso used.
