Hello all,
I have been working on this "little" project off and on for the past couple months (almost a year to be exact). It all started when I was tired of the AT-TE having no motion and constantly having to pose the legs to make it more life like. So I though "How about I just make it mechanical? A few others have done it, so I want to make my own."  So I did just that, and this thing can finally walk.  The only problem is that it has some weight issues and the thin legs are having trouble staying together, so it is still on the work bench until I get 99.9% of the bugs fixed. Things I hope to do: fit a few troops inside, try to keep my hinged doors, rotating cannon, and add some LED headlights. And maybe in the future I will get it to turn.

Here's a small Gallery which shows some progess and updates since the video was taken. This coming winter break I hope I can work on it more as I had ordered some more pieces to help on the interior structure.

What y'all think? Critiques and questions are welcome.

Very very impressive! My only thought (It might be right, haven't seen a SW movie in almost 2 years now.): Is that how they move in the movies?

Thanks! well its pretty dang close to how they walk. I am guessing if it were a real vehicle, each leg would be more independant of another to adjust to the terrains? But mines just moves with a shaft in the middle.

That's awesome! I've always loved it when people mechanize sets, especially to the extent that you did! Good job!

Okay. In that case, you've taken out the possibilities of all my nitpicking. It is perfect! Wow this thing looks
