Brickfilm Sets

As some of you may know, I make Brickfilms. I thought it would be fun to show you some of the kind of sets I use for filming.



This one is from the 3rd episode of Lego Pokemon Series 3.



This was for a demonstration which I never completed



This was for a panning shot of Micro London. I had to get the light at just the right angle.



This was for my Doctor Who 50th Anniversary film, which will be out later this year.



And finally, this was going to be Big Ben and the houses of Parliament, but I ran out of pieces and settled for just using it as a set for my Doctor Who 50th Anniversary film.

Very nice, I have a problem with building like that though, it nags at me and as such I rarely if ever found a brickfilming "set" I was happy enough with to shoot on. XD

Fithboy if you need help with animation I animate too. I can give you some helpful tips on cameras, lamps and programs.

Do you have a Youtube account? Mine is xxXDennoXxx. I don't think I'll need any help animating, but it would be nice to have a look at some of your brickfilms .

On thing. What camera do u use

I use a Samsung ST205

Ok, I'm using a Logitech c920. Just one suggestion, I think in my opinion that a webcam is better for animation it's also easier to keep sill and you don't need to transfer the pictures to the camera.  

But a decent webcam is much more expensive than a decent camera . Also, you often can't control focus and exposure as well. Using a webcam is certainly easier, but using a camera is better.

Well, if you have a mac there is this webcam settings app you can get for 8 dollars and you can control the light focus and pan it. Also how much was your camera??

That's all great except for the part where you get a Mac. Can't remember correctly, but I think my camera was about £100, which is about 170$.
