I just came to say hello!

Post by Bric Half Moon on Tue Aug 18, 2015 1:02 pm

Hey anyone and everyone kicking around,

Just sent a registration a few days ago, I've been dying to get into the Guild for a few years now, and now I was actually able to sign up! Checked my email this morning, and was pumped to see my registration had gone through. Guess I'll be working on some MOCs or something to liven up the Creations Area for you guys. Well, I've said my piece.

Hello and welcome to the CABG!

Glad to see you're so enthusiastic about getting into the Guild. Send one of the admins or Council members a Guild app when you're ready! Sadly it has been really quiet around here lately but feel free to read some of the archives. Also, if you have a LEGO photostream somewhere you can post a link here or on your profile, I'd love to see some of your work! Once again, welcome to the CABG I hope you enjoy it here! Smile

Hi Daisy, and thanks for the warm welcome! I was going to send a Guild Application, but I can't send external links (or pictures) or emails for a few more days. I've created a Flickr account, but you'll have to search for it (brichalfmoon). It has all my current MOC's on it (all 4 Razz ) with various angles. I hope you enjoy them!

Had a look at your photostream and your MOCs look great! The photography is excellent too.

Thanks Fith, that means a lot! I just finished the MOC I was working on, so I'll take some pictures of it tomorrow. I had help taking the photos, so my mom was glad someone appreciated it Razz

Edit: I can post links now, so here's the link to my Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/133904147@N03/

While still cool, this one is pretty blocky and square at the front, I like how you used curves in your other builds. The tiles on the top look good and those wings are great!

Thanks for the critiques! My collection of lego doesnt contain many angle pieces that arent previously used unfortunately. I'll try to fix it if I can find the pieces.

Looks good Bric! Remember to try to keep in mind quality over quantity when building. Making something smaller but more detailed is better than making something big but bland with no techniques used. So even if you don't have a large LEGO collection but you have a bunch of small pieces, you can still do some pretty amazing stuff!
