I had removed the horizontal stabalizers (rear) a while ago, do you think I should keep the rear vertical stabalizer intact, or take it off?

CC, I think you should remove the wings, fill the gaps, and remove the back stabilisers.

Take it off, but leave the tail leading up to it. Remove the wings like Aki said, and I think it'll look rather nice. Maybe transfer some of the missiles into racks, deployed from the wing-gap area .

So you think I should take off the entire forward wing assembly?

No no no, I like the wings, the add to the overall look, I think the gunship looks great as it is.

Well, now that I think about it(whether or not I said that before; I forget ), I'd suggest renaming it a bomber, or giving it a droid rack or two for full fledged gunshipness.

The width of the wings give it a Star Warsy bomber feel, like the Naboo Bomber for instance.
