MIDI Scaled AT-TE Empty MIDI Scaled AT-TE

Post by KinGanon Thu Jul 30, 2009 1:57 am

Well I made a MIDI Scaled AT-TE(as the title suggests), but I decided to challenge myself and make it entirely out of the pieces found in 7675(AT-TE). Now onto some pics:

Back view(those back turrets took a while to work)

Any comments?

That is quite impressive! However, I must gripe here and say that at least the cockpit should be smaller. The Falcon's midi scale cockpit was a fourth the size of the UCS one, so at least this ought to be half. Wink

Yes the cockpit must be smaller and possibly use some plates to make the outer legs look slanted Smile .

I really like it King. Smile It's more compacted and seems like it would be used for like 6 guys tops, a small transport. It's really cute! Smile

Thanks for the comments guys, but having a limited piece selection I had to make a few sacrifices. I'll take your comments in consideration, and maybe even whip up a version 2!

Awesome! Very well done. Although I agree the cockpit does need to be smaller.

That's pretty neat, KinGanon. I'll have to agree with everyone else that the cockpit needs to be smaller. But I do like how you came up with this challenge for yourself. You did great.

I wouldn't call this MIDI. MIDI would be a bit smaller. The cockpit would have to be a little bit bigger than the Falcon's. But, I like how you made it! Especially only using pieces from the official set.

Have I commented on this? No... I don't think I have yet, and it truely is deserving of comments.

The legs, as some have already stated, are brilliant. I enjoyed how you were able to keep studs on the top on the visible sides of them. The top-mounted gun's seat is simply superb; it's unique little details like that which make an admirable MOC. It's a splendid piece of work, bravo Wink !
