Duelie's Grilla
We've stopped for the night by some sort of small building, or at least it used to be. Me and Jason came here in this machine, driven by a man who calls himself "Duelie". We're pretty sure Duelie's made this thing from scratch, he calls it the "Grilla" it makes a heck of a noise and is made of about fifty different types of vehicles. Jason reckons he's seen part of a tricicle in the back. Duelie offered us a ride two days ago, we were a bit hesitant but anything was better than that hell hole we were in. Right now Jason is over catching our dinner, Duelie is resting in the building with his shovel which he calls "Rosy", he mutters to it constantly and insists it gets it's own seat when we drive.

I can't really complain about it. I love the backstory, the old hobo dude, who I take to be as 'Duelie'.
And maybe a little less studs would be nice.
But seat is spelled seat, not seet.wrecks wrote:...."Rosy", he mutters to it constantly and insists it gets it's own seet when we drive.

Re: Duelie's Grilla
Alright wrecks, because of your recent creations I'm holding you to make better Mocs. This is nod bad but it could really use sometiles or greebles. But whatever you do, do not leave those open studs out. They just don't give out that professional look.
The rocks could also be better as could the top of the tank which does look a bit plain.
Overall it's a good concept, it just needs some refining.

Very cool! I think better name for this is a Tritank.

Re: Duelie's Grilla
Nice, but as DY said, more tiles and add some more detail on the top, it would make it a lot better!
Re: Duelie's Grilla
Wow, this is great!
A few changes I would like to see is if the back had two treads instead of just one. I think the whole vehicle would look better in just the light bley as well. Maybe consider this a WIP, or not. Other than that I love it, it is wounderfully designed and has a nice back story. I was a little suprised not to see your "signature" dark blue in it though.
Anyways keep up the good work.

Re: Duelie's Grilla
Yeah it started out as a 112th vehicle, but then things got too messy and I desided it looked more like a post apoc vehicle, so I just went with it. I won't be continuing on it because I've got an idea for my next MOC that I really want to do.

Re: Duelie's Grilla
Sick tank! The scene around is sort of plain, but the tank totally takes the weight back. Nice post-apoc look to it.
Re: Duelie's Grilla
Very nice! My only complaint is it's boxiness, other than that it's a pretty sweet MOC.
Re: Duelie's Grilla
Shock and Awe!!! I love this! The shape, the boxiness fits right in!

Cool moc! I like it, although the doors seem strange, maybe add some slopes to the top or bottom?

Re: Duelie's Grilla
Little Wrecks is all grown up now Great moc mate! I like the tri-thread system on that machine. Maybe a few more greebles/pipes on the vehicle would give it a more composite appearance.
Re: Duelie's Grilla
I love the concept as much as I do the build. It's got this "homey" sentiment to it. Late afternoon in the hot arid desert, setting up camp around the rover with a massively eccentric old man who's no doubt going to keep everyone up all night.
So forth.
As for the build, this is the only time when I can say I love the coloration on it. It looks like it's old and beaten up with that mixed gray scheme you've got going on, it's put on a pretty decent backdrop, and simply feels as though it is a vehicle for wandering through unknown lands .
Another epic build! Bravo!

Wow, I'm impressed. I love the treads and overstory too! Too bad you misspelled reckon (I'm from the South, I know these things ).
