Fists of Fury!!
A quick little brickfilm. Took about 2 hours too make, at 15 FPS, made in MonkeyJam and edited in WMM.
My first fight scene, so the actions may be a bit random, I'm nowhere near the prowess of Keshen8.
Re: Fists of Fury!!
Pretty random as far as story, but very well animated, and great sound effects. I liked it!

Thanks ABL.
Btw, I joine BiM, so I'm learning a lot from there. So my next animation should be much smoother!

Re: Fists of Fury!!
Not bad, but i'm pretty sure that wasn't 15fps and stop using friggin' birds-eye view for your videos!
Re: Fists of Fury!!
Actually I brought it up with the people at BiM, they said that MonkeyJam did something, and sliced my FPS in half, making it only 7.5 FPS.
And what's wrong with birds eye view?

Yes, thought so.
You just don't get a feel for the action. There's no effective use of focus and everything is to far away, in my opinion, to care about. You've definetely got it where it counts, but you just need to lower that tripod!
Re: Fists of Fury!!
I see what you mean, I was kinda using the Hong Kong style of fighting, while you want me to use the "American" style; up-close and personal.
I think it really comes with the directing/filming style, and I'm still trying to find what's best for me. But I get what you mean when I have to get at the actual level of the minifigs.

I think a combination of a direct birds eye view (directly over the characters pointing vertically down) coupled with close ups can work very well. Maybe you should try that!
