Post Apoc Mountain Base

In 2050, scientists began dabbling in genetics, and unknowingly unleashed a virus that transformed susceptible humans into ragin alien-like creatures. 95% of the world's population was infected. The other 5% were only spared because they were in remote locations or away from large amounts of people. Months later, what remained of the world's government banded together in what was known as the IDA (International Defence Association) to counter the mutant threat. However, they were short of survivors, so they enlisted a man called Axel to help find the survivors and help their plight.

In the mountainous regions of New Zealand, two soldiers, Bryce and Victor, hold their base against mutants. With their ammo running low, and their laser cannon out of battery, their time is running out, and they can barely survive another assualt. Luckily, Axel has found them in time, and rushes to help take out the mutants.

Mutants. The humanoid ones are Phase 1; they've been infected for less than 6 months. After the 6 month period, an alien like creature bursts out of the human body. At first, the Phase 2 mutant is weak, has very soft skin and can be killed easily. However, after a further 3 months, it develops a stronger, faster body and a protective shell (Phase 3). Pictures here are Phase 1 and Phase 2 mutants.



Axel, Victor, and Bryce. Due to working in the mountains, Bryce and Victor managed to avoid the disease. Victor wields an M4 carbine, and Bryce has a M576 Buckshot attachment to his M4. Axel holds his Colt Navy revolver, modified to have a larger cylinder, able to be speed-loaded and able to accept higher caliber bullets.

Thanks! I was always into vignettes, but never really had time to build. But now it's my holidays, so I hopefully have more time for Lego. I still have a week left, so I plan to make the most of it!

Guys long time no see!! Axel I've always been a fan of your work, and I also love the small mutant series!! You should make one where Axel and two soldiers infiltrate SS _____ and they find everyone dead and a new type of mutant that goes underwater and they must rescue the remaining crew members!

Nice vig Axel! I like the detail on the vig and the grenade launcher on the M4! Also, the mutants kinda look like the flood from Halo.
