AT-RT
Seeing many CW episodes containing AT-RTs, I thought I'd make my own version. Without further ado, I proudly present my AT-RT.
Back View
Minifig for scale. According to this pic, it is twice the height of a human. Naturally, I made it twice the size of a minifig.
Finally, a cross-section of the top of the model for those who want to build it.
Update 1/26/10

Re: AT-RT
Looks Pretty good! The overall design is superb to most things that I've seen. Great!

Pretty good, but AT-RTs have two guns in the front: a blaster and a grenade launcher.

Wow, I love it.
The colors are a bit odd and the pictures aren't that great...
But it's a wonderful design.

Agreed. Love the design. I think I'll have to make one or two myself.

I disagree. There's enormous differences. The only similarity is that they're built on the same vehicle design. (The AT-ST).
On to the actual model.
I love the photography for the top picture. The structure strikes me, too, as being wonderfully thought-through. The reason I disagree with Tac's assertion is because you've actually made it more complex than Jonathan's and more detailed.
All over, it just sort of strikes me as extremely well-built. Excellent job.
Re: AT-RT
Thanks for the comments, all. I really appreciate it.
I couldn't fit a grenade launcher on the cannon, so I sufficed for just the blaster.

Re: AT-RT
I agree that it's a good design, and the legs are good, but my only complaint is the thigh area which looks a little thin. Other than that, it looks great!
Re: AT-RT
I like it... other than the dark red color. I think it should be a green or something.

Agreed. I think you should have the 1x4 wedge pieces on the side be bley, and then maybe throw some 1x2 dark green tiling ontop of the studs. The seating needs a little work too, but I'm diggin' the legs. Nice work overall.
Re: AT-RT
Nice one! It looks like it could fit through a "2x2" space!

Re: AT-RT
Very nice! The legs are greebled perfectly. Simple, but genius.

The legs are great, but the colors don't work for me. Overall a great build!

Re: AT-RT
I Like it alot. The colors could be better but I like it. I will try to build it as I see there and maybe add a few of my own pieces;)
Re: AT-RT
Since many suggested for a color change, I recolored my MOC. I thought since this was just a little change, I'd just update this thread rather than start a new one. Pity I couldn't find any 1x2 tiles in Lime green, though.....
Re: AT-RT
Much better! Good job! Perfect color too!

Wow , that looks just like what an AT-RT is supposed to look like!! I'm glad someone finally did it justice.
