My entry for Pillage the Village

Okay, so here's my first ever pirate MOC. I know that it doesn't have a lot of stuff packed into it, like some Vigs can/do, but I liked it simple, so kept it like that. I focused on making nice planks and so other cool stuff, but still, mainly simple. I’m hoping to come in third; it was creative at the very least.

Okay, so when I heard about PTV I thought about how, maybe, the pirate's life isn't as bad, and maybe I could show their cruelty another way, like them effecting others by looting too much. So, here we go!



Captain Fang-Russ, after a good and long night at the bar, comes back to his ship and is surprised to see his gang-plank already lowered. As he stands there confused a British Officer walks off his boat, carrying some of his treasure. This simply confuses Fang-Russ more. Noticing the Pirate Captain the Officer looks apologetic. “I’m sorry,” he says “but we need it far more than you. We’re not getting paid any more you see. You’ve taken the money they would use to pay us.” He then walks off, followed y many of his fellow soldiers, each lugging one of Fang Russ’ treasure chests after them.

Built it for my Cr. Seuss Thing, but decided to use it here too.

Zeph, watta ya MEAN it doesn't have that many details??? It's AWESOME the dock, the toucan the scene, it's BRILLIANT!!!

I think he means Nadroj. He's a fellow like SlyOwl(well, he's not REALLY one but what the hey!) and is somewhat well known around the site.

And around Lego in general. Sir Nadroj is considered one o9f the nest builders, and one of the best youngest as well.

Yeah, well, I don't keep a record. I just post and keep to myself, and utterly avoid attracting attention to myself.

Zeph that tucan is genius! How did you get that parrot to stay on that pirate's shoulders though....? I like the crooked dock, but the boarding plant to a ship is a little confusing having it both blue and brown. Just make it brown.

I think he put the parrots tail under that rubber band.

Completely forgot about the tail on parrots! I don't own one anymore and probably haven't actually seen one in real life for 2 or more years.

Thanks Revo, it means a lot from you too. You're certianly who I consider our resident king of builders (next to Rook, but you've got a creativeness I don't feel he has (sorry Rook))
