Last Clone Standing-A Halo related MOC

Ok, maybe it doesn't look like the real thing, but it does have a lot of greebles! Since we're talking about greebles, the next picture will show you the greebles.


I believe that I succeeded at greebles on this MOC, and greebles aren't easy to make.

Hmm, the only greebled thing is that wall, I suggest some at the 2 levels of 'rock' as well. It's ok though, a bit plain, but ok.

Eh, would have been better with a AAT there to represent the wraith.. but overall I'm dissapointed. I mean, yeah, the landscaping is nice, but there's just not much substance to it.

I like the rocks, but where the droids are standing put greebles, and where the clone is standing put greebles! It would be an excellent MOC then.

The wall is very nice, but the floor could use some work. Overall a great step up!

As everyone said, just work on the ground a bit, maybe some trees/plants and a rock or two....

There are no greebles in this MOC. Rocks are not greebles. Only mechanical components or similar items, made out of small pieces, are greebles. Here, you have some rocks made from relatively large pieces. They are not greebles. We really need a builders' glossary for the younger members around here...

Moc-wise, this is pretty mediocre. The rocks (again, not greebles) don't look that natural, especially the inverted slopes on the bottom. The rest is just plates and minifigs, who aren't that interesting. Also, the fact that there's nothing behind the rocks/under the clone is a big let-down, and makes it look even more like a lazy tablescraps MOC. It's a step up from 'a plate and some figs', but not much of one.

If you plan on improving this (which I would, rather than starting something new), look at some good rocks (a prime example by Rocko is here), and see what you can pick up from them - most of them are sloping downwards, they flow naturally, etc. Also, add something behind the rocks, 'cause that looks awful right now. Maybe continue the rocks around the corner, or make a cross-section of the slope (good for easter eggs), whatever. Next, make the terrain more interesting where the minifigs are standing. Make some dunes or small slopes (same basic principles as the rocks, but with plates, really), add grass, at least change the colour to tan, so we know it's the terrain in the video. Lastly, fix your minifigs. Right now, they're pretty boring, save for one who appears to be doing the limbo, and another who's clearly drunk and is about to fall over. Position them correctly, add variety with some SBDs or dwarf spiders, and give them something to do other than point 'n' shoot.

For now, that's all I can think of. But definitely work to improve this instead of building something new. You learn by working on one MOC until you are satisfied with it, not by churning out a plethora of average builds like this.

Same here, Interesting rock design as well!

This is an improvement, and the rocks are nice, but greebles are nowhere to be found. You need more texture to this too!

This is OK. But I agree with Jinja: That is not greebs. It also needs more plants!

Excellent rock face. Fill in the underneath part and a little more texture to the flat parts and your there.
