Elite Assassin Droid Transport/Fighter(pics fixed)

I built this to give the two Elite droids from the BP a better vehicle than the speeder given in the pack.







More detailed, and larger, pictures are in the photostream.

Is it really that awful?

No. People just havn't found it! It's waaaaay better then that speeder it comes with!

I find that some of my posts are actually regularly ignored by pretty much anyone who finds them; it could be that when they read the topic and look at the MOC they see that it's complete, and it needs nothing else.

It's hard to see whether this is any good because of the photography - there are a couple of tutorials out there on how to photograph all-black models. I suggest you try them and come back later.

You can squint and look at the Flickr stream, and go to all sizes and use large.

Meh, it's still difficult to see. I'm guessing those are windscreens on the sides? If so, that's pretty neat, I s'pose.

M'kay, I'm going to get the larger size and post it here; I actually copied/pasted that from the land where tiny pics grow.

Because of the black it's hard to see the bricks, but it looks like a good MOC.

Thanks DP; what would the good people of CABG suggest for balancing the black to make the lines come out?

Well there isn't really a 'good' way to do this, black is 9/10 times hard to see. Anyway, retake the pictures on a white background, without your hand and have plenty of light (a large lamp would do). That could help.

I think I see your point; the 'white-light' from my uber-camera isn't the best for bringing out black.

That looks really cool! A bit boxy on the front though. 8/10.

Hey 80-0, I would suggest downloading Picasa 3 it really helps to brighten up your pics!

It's like DY's AAT, it's very hard to see because it's almost entirely black.

Anyway nice ship, like the black color scheme but I'm still not clear on were the droids sit.

Aye; that's my problem(And I find it quite funny how no one has pointed that out yet ). I have one under a clip on the outside, and one waaaay back inside in the hull. But there's a huge gap of space inside the 'nose' which I have to fill somehow. I think I'm going to take out the one that's in the hull and put supplies in there like an array of weapons, and make it the gap a cockpit with a removable hatch or a tilting hatch so they can get out.

That looks so much cooler than the one from the BP.

Yes, but are you liking the BP vehicle for its pieces or its looks? Although I love the fact that it has six dark blue 1x3 slides.

And I'm going to do something unthinkable. I'm going to use Paint(yes, such a low end program which I am apparently quite skilled with ) to draw out the lines in the transport(as well as take more pics of the updated version and do the same) so you can see every brick-line there is to be seen.
