The 82nd Mobile Command Post
The 82nd used these command posts to to coordinate the movement of the troopers vehicles ect. They were carried to the battle field by LAAT/c's and where equipped with repulser lifts so they could get around on their own. One command post was assigned to each Regiment. Each one could hold the regiments commanding officer, lower ranking officers and a few troopers for defense. This MOC took me about 3-4 hours to make. Mainly because I had some trouble getting the shape right.

Yea it is awesome and this is a v.2 too. The v.1 was crap to put it lightly.
Thanks. I think I make alternates and MOCs like this the best..

Thanks Muskey. No I'm not a really good builder I have beginners luck right now. unless someone else wants to say otherwise.

This is brilliant! The shape is perfect! It looks like an alternate model to me. Is it?
However, the only problem is the lack of controls. I doubt clones can control via mind power .

Re: The 82nd Mobile Command Post
That is sweet. What makes it so special is the shape of it; I know how long it can take to get the shape right. Also it looks like you have the design like 'castle walls', so you can hide behind the high cover, or stand up and shoot out in the low spots.

I have a question, how does this (theoretically) attach to the LAAT/c?

Thanks CC the shape was hecka hard to get I can't even begin to tel you how long it took. Hmm I didn't think of it that way/design it that way but I see what you mean. If only this would work for the castle contest. Which I think I will try to enter if I have time.

Well yes and no. I built it with the pieces from 4 CWbp's but I had to use pieces from other sets too. Mainly big plates ect.
Well apparently my clones are special then . Well I was going to add controls then I couldn't find the piece but now I found it yet I am too lazy to take pics again.
cln-cmndo wrote:I absolutely love it! Wish I had the piece supply to do that...
Just buy 4 bp's and get some plates and you can make one.

TB, thats a hard question to answer. I have no clue. I am guessing somewhere, hiding from view, there is a thing that pops up like on the AT-TE to let the dropship pick it up.

Dang. That is pretty good. How many BPs did you use for that?

Really good, but personally I would revise the colour scheme on the bottom.

Re: The 82nd Mobile Command Post
This is really awesome man! The shape, as CC-007 pointed out, is what makes it really awesome. The feel of it is really that of a command base, so you've nailed that. It's big as well, nicely staffed. Nice job my friend!

You are welcome! Your MOC's are getting better and better!
Re: The 82nd Mobile Command Post
Wow, that really is pretty sweet. How many Clones can it fit? And it's only the 4 Battlepacks and some plates, nothing else?
