Republic RBC Walker
Republic Repeating Blaster Cannon Walker - Deadly to infantry, deadly to Jedi. Secretly created for combating Jedi, but was used before Order 66.
Some of you may be skeptical of it's ability to kill a Jedi (COUGHCOUGHTBCOUGHCOUGH), but those frontal cannons fire pretty fucking fast.

Hmmmmmm.
Interesting. I like it all except for the fact that it's shaped too much like the battle pack.

Re: Republic RBC Walker
lolz. That's a walker? Looks like the hingese only move side ways. I don't see how it could possible walk. Its more like a stationary defense turret thing...
Re: Republic RBC Walker
If I had the pieces it would walk.
But this isn't an elevated turret.

Re: Republic RBC Walker
Well, I don't see how it's a walker either. I mean, seriously. Isn't the golden rule of MOCing "Don't build unless you have the pieces for it"?
Re: Republic RBC Walker
Well, by looking at your sig, even a 9-yr old n00b *coughcoughlegoboycoughcough* could tell that. Sorry, I think I've caught swine H1N1 flu.
But in all seriousness, I think you should go down the path of elevated turret. I really think you could pull off a really good one with this as the base.

Re: Republic RBC Walker
Pd, unless Alpha is making a stopmotion it's fine. A certain pose can be portrayed with something that wouldn't work if were to really move.
Re: Republic RBC Walker
True, but it can walk, as the feet can rotate, because it's on a 3x3 'dome' with a stud.
I'll try the turret thing, as I already have 2 AT-RTs serving as walkers.

But it doesn't look like a walker. I mean, at least put some knee joints in there.
Re: Republic RBC Walker
Nice
Gives it a "Run for your life " feeling to those facing it

I can tell where you got your insparation from... It does look kinda like a turret with those feet, if you gave it more BP-like feet it would look more like a walker.

Re: Republic RBC Walker
Personally i think this is a great design, mainly because you could use it as a walker or a turret. Good job!
Re: Republic RBC Walker
But if you gave it the BP feet it would almost look like the CP itself?
It's a good design Alpha just I would make the cockpit a bit wider. The legs look alright just try to angle them better.

Re: Republic RBC Walker
It reminds me a lot of the Bpack walkers. Nice!

Firstly, it's too blocky. The sides are just slants going upward, fix it a bit.

Epic lulz for everyone.

Re: Republic RBC Walker
Not quite ironic, Zepher's is a speeder, mine is a walker.
A walker doesn't require smooth slopes. It moves slowly.
A speeder has to be sleek, or it'll be slowed down, and won't even look good.

Re: Republic RBC Walker
I wanted someoneelse to catch it, not you Alpha! You should of seen if anyone else could!
Probaly not come to think of it.
In all seriousness though, I'm impressed this thing is able to stand. It sure doesn't look like it should be able too. I think the trooper area is too large compared to the legs, and looks like it has too much over hang in the front. Maybe make it more veritcal and less long. Walkers are also meant to be closed in my thoughs, or more just legs, not anything in btween. THere's something I just don't like about this, but I've seen much worse from people. A so-so MOC in my thoughts.
Re: Republic RBC Walker
So, walkers like the AT-TE, AT-AP, AT-RT, and almost every walker isn't allowed to have a gap between the legs?
I'll scrap this, and make some larger walker. I'll be building all afternoon, so bye for now.

Re: Republic RBC Walker
The leg distance isn't what I meant. I meant the area where the clones sat was to long. As in from front to back, not the two legs.
