Classic Gangster Museum Robbery(pic heavy)
A fun MOC I made yesterday:
(the little gun Goggles has is a cam-jammer)
(security camera)
(I loved building these little pylons)
(that mechanism actually lifts up the cover over the jewel and holds the cover suspended above it for display)
(knock out the cop)
(no figs)
(security camera close-up)
(no exhibit)

I like it, but the chains are annoying. What's the point?
Re: Classic Gangster Museum Robbery(pic heavy)
You know how in banks and/or museums they have these little pylons to keep chiddlers and finaglers from touching exhibits? This is it basically.

That's pretty nice. Don't mix greys though.

Pretty nice! I like the mechanism, and I like the simple modification to the (horrible) TLG Tommy!

Since when are there exhibits in a bank?

Nicely SNOT'ed. Like the safe are and the camera the best. Perfect use of faces and figs. I give it a 4/5!

I was loath to do it at all, but then again it's only in two places: the camera and the guard's gloves.
@ Aki: Yeah; I actually had the figs as well as the idea all built before I made the scene. I didn't think of doing it in SNOT until I realized just how many light grey bricks I actually had.
@ PhiMa: It's an object of great rarity; IDK, IDC.
And here are three quick pics of the figs:

No, they do not. It's an illusion; trust me, they are new grey.

Yea, it should be renamed The Museum Robbery...
I love how you made the robbers look like classic gangsters.

Great job 80-0, I think that you did very well with this. Good scene, nice greebling, and I like your chain fence a lot. Keep it up!
Re: Classic Gangster Museum Robbery(pic heavy)
It's good, apart from a few things.
1) If it's classic why is there a security camera?
2) Museums are not that grey. Have white floors at least.

Re: Classic Gangster Museum Robbery(pic heavy)
I like the gangster with the Fedora, but the others look too much of new time robbers, not much of classic gangsters. The snot is pretty niffty too, and the mechanism looks cool.
Re: Classic Gangster Museum Robbery(pic heavy)
@ Garet: Museums in the UK or in the US?
I'm sure cameras were around back then... At least large boxy ones.
@ 667th: Black lined sweatshirts, knit caps, and face masks don't strike you as classic?

Re: Classic Gangster Museum Robbery(pic heavy)
Well, more importantly, what do you define as classic? 30s? 40s?
