Not one step backwards!

Made it a few days ago but never really posted it. So here it is.

The moc itself is pretty good, but I don't really get the joke.

In WWII, the Russian motto in the defense of Stalingrad was 'Not one step backwards!', which means they shall never go back to their own lines. Now look where the trooper is standing.

While the German looks little like a German, and the Red Army soldier looks little like what he should... the MOC is decently built, and the pun is epic .

Er.. Where do you see a German? The one on the left is supposed to be a Red Army officer, they kill the traitors and deserters (the private is one when he tries to run away).

Don't forget the KGB officers who fired off machine guns inside the lines, at the troops, in order to make the troops run forwards and fight.

Nice little vig. Good detail, the officer's expression is great!

This is hillarious, and a good MOC too. The sad thing is, the motto really worked though.

Gotta love those commies. They put this "motto" into practice in the movie "Enemy at the Gates".

The funny part is I was reading about this in my Complete History of World War Two by John Keegan a few days back...

I found it funny how officers would stand their and would shoot a deserting soldier like nothing happened.

As for the MOC, it's quite funny! The bridge itself is very craftily constructed.
