The Eye

This was a nifty little project that I've been sitting on for a while. I built most of the eye within 1 hours, and then spent about another full hour figuring out the iris. Finally I went with my simply solution, and it worked it awesomely!











I was also easily able to edit the first picture on to my face, and it looks wicked awesome. With GIMP it is incredbly easy, I advise you take a swing at it.

It's kinda "jagged" and not so fluid and round as it could be, but not too bad all around.

It looks really cool, but I advise building the white in an more oval shaped form.

The coloration does look nice!

If you're going to edit it into your face you don't need oval edges 'cos you can just edit out the jaggedness.

Pretty neat! Nice idea for the pupil.

Personally I don't really like it because it doesn't look at all. But if your happy with it then that's great.

Of course it doesn't look (see?) it's a lego eye.

And I know it's jagged. I meant for it to be like that, and I really like the way it turned out. Yeas, a real eye would be more oval shaped, but I meant this one to be more artsy than realistic! Thanks for the comments!

Hmmm... that would look sexy with some GIMP.

I was hoping for the Eye of Sauron... Oh well, still 'tis cool. Perhaps if you could use one of those sphere techniques and make a 3d one...

That fellow who made the skull out of only old fashioned fire pieces could do the Eye quite easily.

Thanks for all the comments! I've Gimped 3 cool pictures, but all of me! Luckily, I'm working on a fourth using an eye that I found on google images! I'll have some cool GIMP work up late tomorrow!

I would have blurred the edges a bit more...
