Piranhas on an Escalator

Samuel L. Jackson will be staring in the exciting action-horror sequel to Snakes on a Plane; Piranhas on an Escalator.













I loved the poster and just thought it would be fun making it into a vignette. I also wanted to try and give lego-escalators a go. If I were you, I'd take the stairs...

That's a very nice design, and a clever idea! Though I note that you forgot to add one character who's in the very far back on the left hand side, with the long-ish hair.

That is simply beautiful, Revo. You nailed the concept of the escalators. This MOC made me smile.

Ahh, the lovely limited designs of LEGO(I need that Registered symbol). I think it would be cool to use a Clone Wars Mace Windu head for Samuel L. Jackson's head. And maybe detach his left leg and have it on the next stair up.

It was with purpose. He looked a little crammed into the moc, and also was falling outside my vignette perimeters so I ended him.

Hmm it's ok, what you've got is accurate, but I'm missing the line in between the escalators, you've forgot to add a person, the placement of the figs is not like the poster and the man on the back on the right has a bit more brownish hair, not red.

I had a feeling there'd be some clicky hinges involved. I always tried working on an escalator, but I couldn't ever find enough pairs to support it properly . I like that you didn't use a casing to hide the elevation, but bricks, for a nifty, smooth effect. The 1x2 grills are excellent for this job, and the railing is superb!

I only made it with clicky hinges because I was challenging myself spacial-y. I wanted everything to fit inside the 12x12 baseplate. Had I more room I could make a much better escalator.

Commanderkill- You're right, moving his leg up the stairs probably would've looked better. I hadn't thought of that!

Anyways, very nice work Revo! The escalator is excellent, I love the railing and the floor detail. However I agree with TB, not you best work but still pretty cool.

Exactly what I was shooting for Nothing too fancy or detailed, just a little small funny vig to throw out there while I work on some other projects.
