Red Army WIP!

Well, I've been workin' on 'em for a bit, and here they are so far.

Consists of 11 regulars, 4 officers, 1 sniper ace, and about 16 legs (and 1 torso) waiting for their counterparts on BrickLink.



Oh, 2 things:

1) I took these pics with crappy lighting and on my new "Awesome BrickArms Battle of Epic Randomness," so please excuse the quality.

2) Before anyone says "OMG WAI DID U OOZE MURIKAN M1 HELMATZ?! TEY R RUSSKEHS!!!", the US supplied the USSR with equipment in WWII, and most of the Red Army used M1 helmets. So there.

What do ya all think?

Really nice job, they really do look like WW2 Russian soldiers. Next try making a tank commander or a winter Russian sniper team (2 guys).

I already have a tank crew (Check photostream LINKY). And I have a sniper, but I plan on making a couple with ghillie suits with some synthetic moss I got.

It look nice at the moment you could make a commander for them

Don't forget the tank Anyways, I personally don't think you should give them ghillie, because during the world war II the russians didn't use ghilly ( actually, I'm not sure, but I think they didn't, so I might edit this, or if I'm wrong someone delete this.) I'm pretty sure they just put cloths over themselves. I mean, wouldn't a large, white, moving bush be a bit conspicuous in a snowy place with no bushes? Or a building with three moving bushes? I think it's just a bit weird. ( moving bush= guy with ghillie) I'm not even sure if ghillie was mass produced until after the war. Still, you could do it I guess, because that's still cool, and synthetic moss is AWSOME!

( I got most of my Russian sniper information from " Enemy at The Gates" ( you know, about the sniper guy, Vassili Rosteroff, the guy that shot some people with a gun, that shoots bullets.) So I guess you can't trust me, after all, it's only a movie.......( besides the location and events being real)

Well actually they did have ghilly suits in a sense. Sometimes they would just get white bedsheets and put it over themselves. Anything can be a "ghilly suit" if it matches the texture of the terrain and it camoflouges well.

That's what I mean, in my post it said they put clothes over themselves, and other junk. So yeah, you're still right.

:spammers: I checked out the battle of randomness, on the links, and I have to say, the 'blood' is a let down. Also how many brickarms do you have!?!?
