Faction WIP

Since Mike Zulu post his, I figured I should get mine up.

The Outer Rim Freedom Alliance (ORFA) was founded by [Insert Leader Here]. It cause is to free, mainly the Outer Rim but included other territories as well, from oppressive governments. Such as the Galactic Republic, their first primary enemy. They eventually made an agreement with the Separatist Council. The treaty made it so the Separatist could have access to all trade routes ORFA took, free trade between them, a bit of protection, and a substantial credit fee for a multiple forces of the CIS's armies. This was just a ploy between both of the factions involved. ORFA wanted to get close to the CIS, and the CIS wanted to use and take all resources ORFA had (aslo try and tie-up some of the Republics forces). After a long period of fighting between ORFA and the Republic, the CIS turned. They began blockading all of OFAR's trade routes, and the droid armies that were given to ORFA were immediately dysfunctional. But ORFA had planned for this. Nearly all of the CIS's droid infantry, vehicles, and space cruisers schematics were known to them. But the vast numbers of CIS forces didn't make it easy. The campaign against the Republic was quickly dropped and most of the forces ORFA had were directed toward the CIS.

That is all of the back-story for now, since I am too lazy to keep going.


I have another one of the brown guy, but his torso had rebel arms/legs/head lodged in it. I aslo have plenty of the pilot's torso, but not many dk. red arms/legs.


The marines. Trained and ready for almost everything.


Standard soldier. These guys were the work horse of ORFA's military.


The medic and/or engineer. Not sure what to use this guy for.


The pilot. [insert descriptive sentence here]

Also, if anyone has some dk. red arms, legs, and generic helmet piece's they can spare, send me a PM. I really need them.

These guys and vehicles are really cool! I might make a little "Faction" myself.

Huh? Do you mean Zulu's faction? Anyway. The vehicles were from my app, so it may be obvious how long this has been on my to do list. And once summer comes around, I might be doing a comic featuring them and my legion.

Yeah, seeing as Zulu's is Blue, and your faction is red, and the popular Halo machinima series "Red vs. Blue" is so iconic, I thought I'd mention it.

Red vs. Blue was awesome, and i hope they have anew season soon...

Or you can make the new season.

I like the whole concept and look forward to seeing more.

These are nice vehicles, but I'd like to see some made up weapons for the figs too.

Anyways, looking good for a start! Hoarding certain minifigs in mass numbers is fun, isn't it?

Yes, it is fun. I found a good deal for about 20 of the torsos for about just as much parts that I had no use for.

Also, that is great to know! I knew it was coming back in spring, but didn't know what month.


So thanks everyone for the comments. I plan on making some sort of airship for them next. And spring break is coming up, so I will try to work on that.

I can't wait to see it completed! By the way is the Republic helping ORFA now since the CIS turned on them?

I can't say. I will update the story when I get updates for the airship.

I think the airship will be some sort of VTOL, btw. If anyone happens to have any sort of shape idea, please tell me. Also I made a new fig a minute ago, I quite like it.
