Welcome to Kashyyyk Seppies!
As the first of the Seps land on Kashyyyk, they are obliterated by the new Republic superweapon! Some sort of mech/hardsuit thing (I don't know the difference between the two) has been created to stop the invasion of Kashyyyk. The mech/hardsuit is armed with a giant DC-15s blaster and long range radar/communications. Able to hold its own and take some damage, it is one of the most powerful weapons ever made! Fits one minifigure. Thanks for reading and enjoy!
Re: Welcome to Kashyyyk Seppies!
The Hardsuit is very cool, however I'm not quite so fond of the legs, they need to be bulked up a bit, IMO. Other then that though, it's totally awesome, I almost like it better then Tac's.
The landscape thing on the other hand, needs some work. I'm not liking all the gaps in the cliff.

OMG, that's awesome. The scene, the hardsuit, definitely portal/frontpage worthy.
Re: Welcome to Kashyyyk Seppies!
Shoulda saved this for CABGOII second round is to create a 16x16 vig. This is way better then the one I had built.

Re: Welcome to Kashyyyk Seppies!
I needed this for the Corps challenge.
@FireHawk- I built the landscape in like 30 minutes this morning plus I had to look for all the pieces. The gaps were supposed to be filled up but I didn't have time. I know the legs on the hardsuit could have looked better but I worked on that for like 20 mins and had better ideas but it kept falling apart. Also partially because I wanted to use AT-ST pilot helmets as the kneecaps and hip/thigh area, did anyone notice that?
@Tac- Thanks, that's one of the best comments that I've had in a while!
BTW, I forgot to mention that this is the first time that I have ever built a mech/hardsuit type of thing, so I think it was rather well done for my first try.
And thanks for the comments so far, keep them coming!

I like it, where did you get the airborne, yours or wuzzupbobs? It would've been better if it was green!

Nice hardsuit. The pieces usage was orginal, well done there, though the over all apperance looks... strange for some reason. i can't tell why. But I like it anyway.
The scene it is placed in is weak. The cliff face has gaps. The little nest thing lacks detail. You had a nice start, but it just wasn't pulled through strong enough the whole way.

I'm not really liking the legs of the suit. They're too thin IMO. Maybe replace the cylinders with These pieces to bulk them up a little.
I like the landscape a lot, especially the ground ; but you should fill in the gaps in the rock formation as mentioned before.
Overall, great build TD!

Re: Welcome to Kashyyyk Seppies!
Zeph, it's not a nest thingy, its one of those platforms on Kashyyyk.
@stormtroopertj- the helmet was by MinifigMaker.
@bl*c- Yeah, maybe I should replace the cylinders with that piece, that way I can still add on to the sides of the thighs. Pity I don't have much of that piece though.
Thanks for the comments everyone!

No problem, and who is MinifigMaker?

Custom minifig maker. His site is minifigmaker.com, nice hardsuit. I believe the difference betwwen a mecha and hardsuit is that a mecha is a robot and a hardsuit is piloted by a living being. The kneecap idea was a excellent touch, the legs are a bit skinny IMO.stormtroopertj wrote:No problem, and who is MinifigMaker?
