Those are very nice Droids considering how little pieces were used, though they remind me more of Crab Droids than Spider Droids.

^I agree, however, you basically made a good example of a crab droid. This doesn't seem very "advanced", but I understand that it is an impulse. Besides, shouldn't there be a minifigure?

I believe the droid could be a minifigure or a 212th clone could be included.
Anyway for something with such few bricks, this is pretty good.
