Orbital Drop Shock Trooper

I've been working on ODST minifigure gear for a while, and I've even begun casting my ODST helmets.



The vest was custom, and the helmet was made and cast in resin by me. The helmet still isn't perfect, but this is the best I've done thus far. I hope to have an even better one soon.





Again, it's not perfect, and I am going to make even better ones. Let me know what you think!

Eh... I'd say they need some work, but I'm glad you will be making more versions! I really do have to admire the fact that you molded/casted the helmet though!

Will any of your casts be for sale or trade? I see on Flickr you need some money? I'd like to buy some if possible.

Pretty good for your first try, It is quite messy though.

It's pretty nice but not perfect. I assume your going to smooth out the wrinkles. Still, its better than anything I could do.

Hey, I really like it for a first try. But try to make the edges sharper so that it won't have this kinda unclear look.

I like it, but it's super messy!

How did you get what you have, hand sculpted? I think what you currently have is really good (I like the lines you captured in the side of the helmet). I think the messiest part is the paint job, once you clean that up this will look a lot better.
Also how much trouble are you having with air bubbles, and what kind of brand of plastic are you using?

Again looks great so far.

Pretty nice wish I new how do cast helmets. He looks a bit battered some work will make him perfect. For now you can say that a brute smashed him into a wall.
