I have a HUGE collection of LEGO and am having the problem of them getting REALLY dusty, so how do all you keep your LEGO dust free, and what suggestions do you have for me? Wink

Here is an example of what I have to keep dust-free:

For obvious reasons I can't play with everything at once, but you are right, it DOES keep the dust off! Wink Blue Arc

Yeah, but what would be the gentelest way, a duster does the job, but snaps all the little antenaes and detail parts right off. Roll Eyes Blue Arc

I use a medium sized brush to clean it, it works pretty well.

I think the can I use is called "Dust-Off" (sorry I'm to lazy to get off the computer and check Wink ) but it's a pressurized can that emits quick blasts of air. Works amazingly!

That's what I was going to recommend. Or another option use a shop vac and flip the hose around and use the blow option.

Hmmm, looks like their is lots of GREAT suggestions! Legorevolution I've ever seen that product before, but I haven't looked either, small/medium brushes is a good idea as well. I've heard of a product that generates an electro-static field that collects dust, but they are kind of spendy and I want to know if it works before I spend money that could otherwise be spent on LEGO. Should be able to. Ask him. I'm sure they would like to know you dust your collection. Or just stand back a ways.

That's actually kinda funny you mentioned that, because every time I want to buy a new set, Dad always says I shouldn't 'cause It'll just get filthy. Roll Eyes Blue Arc

Yep, I would go with the shop vac if you want to save money. If that's too powerful Razz then just go with the cans of dust off. I believe you can get them at Ace Hardware, Home Depot, Office Max, etc. The drawback is you have to be 18+ to buy them due to crazy teen use for getting "high".

Exactly. But I do have something to say about that, a son of a man my father vaguely knew died from using the dust-off to get high. So sad.

But on another happier note, Astoria, you have a ton of assembled legos! Are these in a basement, attic, room, where?!?! Where can you have so much room for all of them?!?! Smile

It might be too much, if he has not enough place to stand and take it all in one photo.
