RamRod
This is my starfighter that I call "The RamRod." It's primary purpose it to destroy capital ships by using it's ION cannon to weaken the capital ships shields in a small area so The RamRod can slam through them then through the ship and out the other side. It was very effective against the large almost impenetrable CIS capital ships.

Re: RamRod
Interesting! Very creative! Try to fill in the gaps though, otherwise a unique shape and I could totally see this flying up their!
Re: RamRod
I see you made an attempt to fill up the gaps since the last time that I saw the WIP but some of the gaps still need to be filled up. Really nice design though, but the top is just too smooth don't you think? Maybe a combo of both SNOT and greebles will be better IMO. But great job on the SNOT!
Re: RamRod
I like it a lot. The thrusters look great, and I like how you did the front. And also, what's "SNOT" and "greeble"?

Re: RamRod
SNOT = Studs Not On Top, as in no studs are showing or they are not facing up.CloneCommandoBoom wrote:I like it a lot. The thrusters look great, and I like how you did the front. And also, what's "SNOT" and "greeble"?
Greebles = Details, usually referred to mechanical stuff such as mechas, walkers, ships, etc.
Anyways, pics are a little blurry, don't you think?
On to the MOC, it's really cool. I like the idea of how it functions. I too like the thrusters. But the front plates don't seem to 'lock in' together right.
The SNOT on the top is a little boring too, as TD said. Maybe a stripe here and there or some greebs.
Re: RamRod
Sorry, about the pictures, I had to go away for a few days so I sorta rushed. Regarding the top, the whole concepet is it being able to tear through capital ships so any greebls on top would get ripped off (Or somethin like that.) And regardless It's not built anymore anyways .bl*c wrote:

Re: RamRod
Very interesting idea, great ship, but it could use some greebles.

Re: RamRod
Need to work on picture quality. Also I’d use a clear base stand (or white or black if you’re shooting on a white or black background).
Re: RamRod
The shape is totally awesome, and I like the inward winged curves towards the front. The engines in back are pretty decent too. I don't like the spaces in between the wedges, or the picture quality however. You need to work on those.
Re: RamRod
I must say that I love boxy and angular ship designs. Not very aerodynamic, but that doesn't matter when you're flying in the vacuum of space.
The design of this ship is very appealing, and I love it. My only complaint is that it needs to be more detailed, maybe some greebles would help it. Otherwise, excellent job!
