Re: The Rook's Rook
LOVE. I also like the ship in the second picture. As well as the stairs. I think this might beat Knight's moc.
Re: The Rook's Rook
Oh my goodness! That thing's hugeee!!!
That speeder ship look really unique. Haven't seen something like that before.
Also, how did you build the stairs in the second pic are they held together or just placed on top of each other?
Maybe you would like to show us how you add Power Functions to an MOC?
Good work!

Re: The Rook's Rook
Massive! Impressive! I especially like the "two modes" feature. Very nice.

Love the secondary mode. All kinds of details as per the usual from you. I enjoy how you gave the four towers a personallity of their own to distinguish them.

Not "Flawless", but still looks good.

The ship on the Queen Quadrant is a modified version of the ship on the tail of the Rook Runner.
The stairs are connected. I was tempted to put a stud extra or two facing up having the minifigures walking on the stairs.
I missed taking a few pictures I wanted to take so I might be able to shot those plus some break down images.
Re: The Rook's Rook
This is a beautiful castle Rook. It has a beautiful design with quite a fasinating star ship. The towers are quite detail and marevlous but where is it from in star wars ,the clone wars I see royal guards in there, please explain my good man.
Can you please make sure to use proper punctuation and grammar!? -eG

Re: The Rook's Rook
The miniature chess set in the second picture made me laugh. The fact that this thing is massive and can be split apart into four different quadrants really makes this the type of creation you would see once and come back to several weeks later. Now excuse me, I am going to drool over your gallery for the next few minutes.

Oh, nom nom nom nom nom. I love it. I'm sorry Knight, but I guess this MOC is gonna make a good opponent in the MOC of the month, and year.... Also, I love the lower part with the speeders. And you say, there are 2 mods, but there are 3. I saw it in your gallery.
amazing
this is just amazing how long did it take you to built. i love the small shuttle.
Please work on your punctuation. Questions end in quesion marks (?) and sentances start with capital letters (ABC, ect.). -Tac

Damn. That's simply amazing, I really love how you've actually made 2 MOCs in 1.

This thing is beast. It is very well done and all of the quadrants flow into each other VERY well.
I want to see more!

Whoa! The 2 form idea is very unique, and the tree is probably my favorite detail. Really rockin' dio Rook. I'll have to look through the rest of the gallery soon.

Imagination.
That's what the whole Corps Area is about. Creating our own stories in the SWU.
Re: The Rook's Rook
Rook, would you have been mad at me if I made a one emoticon post to sum up the total awesomeness of this?

Ah man the laughs. Ok first if you're going to try to be insulting edit your capitalization and punctuation errors highlighted in RED above. Then when you’re ready I’ll reply.

Just so you know, there is a lot more to building LEGO than revolving it around some redundant TV series. It would be much more mature to let people build for the sake of building rather than building for the response of emotionally disturbed eleven year olds. Besides, look at the model itself rather than what theme it is based upon.

First of all, that is just plain mean! Let's see you do better. If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. Appreciate it for what it is worth.
P.S. How 'bout some constructive criticism!?
Second of all, great job! It is completely awesome, I wish I had that much talent.
Again, great job!

Exactly. Hazard1998 if you have something negative/constructive criticism to say that's cool. It'll help me improve my builds. But just saying something is “rubbish” when it has more then twice the number of hits than any other MOC on my Flickr account, suggests that people liked it and wanted to see more details. And as Flak pointed out being able to post a comment is meaningless if you can back it up with some experience. For example I got some good feedback about the light blue trans pieces on the Queen from a member on FBTB that said he disliked how they felt ill placed. That's why we have the Guild. You know you're getting good feedback when a Guild Member tells you the positive and negatives about a MOC. Not saying that non-Guildies don’t know, but at least you know a Guildie has been building for a while (see age requirements for all members). For all we know you don't even own Lego. PS: How do you think writers of new Star Wars books, movies, television shows, and magazines come up with new material?
