Cockpit Help Empty Cockpit Help

Post by Luke Sat Jun 25, 2011 4:25 am

Hi
I haven't been posting around here too much lately, but I've still been building, which brings me to my point. Does anyone know any good ways of sealing the cockpit area around this windscreen?

I've tried many different ways but haven't found anything that works particularly well. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks Smile

Use hinges to create a half circle across the back of the main piece (in black). Then off of the first hinge to right and left of the windshield create slopping pieces (in red) using either hinge and angled plates or with slopped bricks. Then repeat on the next hinged part (in green) making adjustments for gaps.

PS: I'll see I can find a built image.

^Agreed.
One solution is to have the cockpit set deep in the moc and build around it... but I don't know if that's the look you're looking for.

They have a sloped piece that should fit under that. Then you could have a flat wall and put stuff on the other side right next to it. Kinda plain but it is an option.
