Mission 12.3

Location- Space above Bakura
Sly’s Log

“After our adventures on Rattatak, command sent us to Bakura, the very first place where the Corps experienced action. Once we arrived in the atmosphere we learned that the Lieutenants had an important mission, we were to board a Lucrehulk class Separatist warship and take control. Our mission was to gain access of the shield generator room. We got our orders and we were off.
Nix and I headed toward the generator room down the cold depressing hallways. We were informed that IG-86 droids might be guarding the generator room and we approached with caution. We finally arrived at the door of the generator room and I reminded Nix once again that to be ready for anything past those doors. We charged into the room to find that no one was there. We were both surprised to find no one there, but we still approached with caution. As soon as we cleared the room we made our way to the control system and that’s when everything changed. The next thing I know I hear the sound of the blast doors sliding open and hearing blaster fire going off, and then seeing Nix plummet to the floor. As soon as I figured out that the IG-86 droids had ambushed us, I blew one of them straight to the wall near to where Nix had fallen. One remained and he wasn’t as easy to take down. As soon as I had a shot I took it. Once the room was clear I sprinted to Nix to find blood rushing out of his side, he was barely alive but he wasn’t dead yet.

“This is Lieutenant Sly, we have a man down in the generator room, we need help now!” I shouted into my comlink. I didn’t hear anything back.

“Stay with me Nix!”
